I agreed with you that you can use technical analysis to make guesses on how the stock price is going to move. I am just trying to make the point that news is going to be the catalyst that moves us forward.

Your target on your cup and handle formation is $7. So, if Noront releases no news for the next few months are we going to hit $7? No we aren't. Sure, you can use technical analysis but, news is first and technical analysis second (or maybe even less important to some).

Small mining companies are driven by what they find in the ground. Not by how the chart looks.
