NI 43-101 Update (September 2012): 11.1 Mt @ 1.68% Ni, 0.87% Cu, 0.89 gpt Pt and 3.09 gpt Pd and 0.18 gpt Au (Proven & Probable Reserves) / 8.9 Mt @ 1.10% Ni, 1.14% Cu, 1.16 gpt Pt and 3.49 gpt Pd and 0.30 gpt Au (Inferred Resource)
Thanks, geoprof , for clarifying the head grade issue:
"head" grades are the grades of the ore shipped to the mill for processing from the mine. Geo's estimate those grades from UG/surface sampling and DDH info.
With your explanation I can even less interpret Mucker“s statement regarding my in-situ comparisons of Eagle 1 to other deposits:
Mucker: "Excuse my practical background, but the figures your quoting for grade and size of the ore bodies are insitu averages not mill heads."
What would be the difference between in-situ grades and head grades then ?
And if there is no difference, what is Mucker“s comment about then ?
Thanks for your answer.
