When I lived in Toronto, I phoned BNN a number of times to ask one of the 'talking heads' about a ROF stock e.g., Noront. However, since each caller is 'screened' it became very obvious that one of two things was happening: the 'talking head' wasn't interested in or knew little about the ROF; or the 'talking head' or BNN wasn't interested in penny stocks.

I don't follow BNN very much now, but I believe it has a Commodities Report show on Fridays, and on that show, they might be more interested in the mineral plays up at the ROF.
