Thanks Fantomas for asking. Firstly, I have great expectations for NOT and upcoming news. When it will come out..... I don't know, but I'm expecting NOT to make me a lot of money. A lot of pressure however has come off the financial front, now that NOT has repaired it's sp significantly from a few weeks ago.... so a lot of us are feeling even a little giddy. I have chosen to keep my emotions measured.... equanimity is a word I like to use a lot as it implies essentially being able to take the potential bad with the good. It doesn't mean that I'm not extremely pleased and excited at the potential coming down the pike, just that I'm measured about it. I feel others who have been here for a couple of years should understand what I'm saying and the reasons why. I have enjoyed the posts projecting $20 to $50 sp's as they are fun to contemplate. There is however, a point at which this type of posting begins to feed on itself and the line between reality and legitimate expectation becomes blurred, hence we start to see posts of frustration even on an up day. For me the bottom line is balance and it comes down to a judgement call as to when one thinks they are out of balance, thus people's opinions will differ from mine. My aim is to note when I'm beginning to fall out of balance before the point at which I find my nose in the mud, which has happened more than I like to think. I think others have had the same experience. Some posters have said that this should be fun and people should be allowed to celebrate. I agree totally. We just perhaps disagree on how it looks or comes across on this site and the affect it may have on others being carried away on the party atmosphere instead of keeping their eye on the ball. I want everyone to get rich but not just on money.... but more importantly on the experience and the personal growth this opportunity can bring. There are no luggage racks on a hearse and many have been ruined by wealth. I would give everything I own to keep those I care about safe without a nanosecond of a thought. I constantly think about the relative importance of money and remember what it means. It's wonderful, it makes things easier, it can help people and enable you to achieve some things impossible without it.... but in the end it is only a means to an end and to keep that in mind will temper our response to it as we progress with NOT. Sorry about the extensive philosophy. In the end, we all live inside our heads..... where our perspective resides.
