This is what I did today given my belief in NOT's strength...

NOT today was about as good a bet as one could hope to find so I did a bit of gambling. I sold a bit of FWR, being very confident that it was going nowhere today or likely for several days, if not a couple of weeks.... based on available DD. I then bought NOT with the proceeds at 2.17....a bit late with my decision as I could have bought it below 2.10. I sold some of the NOT shares at 2.47 putting myself in a position to buy back the FWR cheaper than I sold it, leaving me with a profit in addition from both the FWR trade and the NOT trade. The aforementioned exercise is one that, when it works well, demonstrates recognizing when assets in one place can be put to work in another. This was something that worked well for me as I was totally accepting of the outcome regardless of which way it went. Again, I was comfortable with what I was doing as one should be when they are trading/investing. It's not everyone's style but it can work well for those inclined.

I also use the days allotted turn around time from the brokerage, for settling purchases, for buying another 4k of NOT which I also sold at 2.47 and squared up my account at days end. This functioned as a very limited margin account which works well but is very tight for time if things go against you. Today.... they didn't. NOT was a good mover today.

The above are examples of what I (and others) do and are not recommendations for anyone to emulate.
