BHEM only works well if the hole *misses* the sulphides. Imagine it this way: You want to know how big a cloud is. Where's the best place to do this? *In* the cloud? Heck, no! You have to be outside the cloud to be able to see how big it is.

So the irony is that Noront was *trying* to miss, in order to stand back far enough to get a perspective of how big and what the shape of the sulphide "cloud" is, so that they will know better how big the deposit is and how best to drill to get a NI43-101 done without missing a lot. That they hit, sulphides, oh well. They will burn a little more money than they had hoped. What is really interesting to me is that they continued to drill even after they brought up cores that had visual massive sulphides. Could it be that they were too excited to pull out in "drillus interruptus"? :-)
