On Nov. 10, Noront released visuals on Hole 08-44. It was referred to as deep drilling that reached 70m below under 07-28 and 07-32. Hole 28 was the one that reached what was thought to be the bottom of Eagle 1 for the 43-101 report. The visuals reported 28.8m of diss. sulfides, minor copper/nickel that turned out to assay 4.21%Ni/2.14%Cu. Also, 14m of massive sulfides, copper/nickel that eventually assayed 7.46% Ni and 3.65% Cu. Finally, 7.1m of diss. sulfides, minor copper/nickle that assayed out as 1.03%Ni and 0.38% Cu. Not much correllation in the descriptions which is confusing.
Going back earlier to fall of 2007, hole07-5 hit 117m of ore that was described in much more detail when visuals were released. Hole 49 has a 241m section as well as a 196m section described as diss., semi-massive and massive sufides, a similar general type discription as hole 44. This is 437m of mineralization that may be similar to hole 44 which would be exceptional. If it is similar to hole 5 than it is obviously beyond exceptional. Hopefully, the orebody chambers out somewhere below the 300m level. Only five holes and 2286m have been drilled in the new campaign and one is a 1000m of that so they obviously don't know yet.
My point of all this is our press release is very restrained and the information while welcomed is very general. In my estimation we have at the minimum a pillar of nickel copper that measures about 50m X200m varying smaller as you go down but is 1000m deep and likely more. It may balloon out in places or form chambers under Eagle One . All I can say is when you try to interpret the drillhole data, it is totally contrary to the shareprice data. RapidRob may be correct in his analysis of investor uptake in this stock because nothing else makes sense.
