Hello everyone. I am now on holidays (sort of....4 days) and will be away from the computer for that length of time, unless I can access one up north.

So I thought I'd let everyone know that I have spoken to Joanne Jobin, via a number of emails regarding the golf tournament. She has informed me that we cannot use Noront's name or stock symbol in any way, for the tournament.

The reasons for this are purely of a legal nature, as Noront could become liable should something go wrong during the event. And we have no authorization from NOT to use their name. I just went ahead and used it without asking, thinking that no harm was being done, when in fact there could have been some real issues to deal with.

Now, please understand that Joanne was real nice about all this and she emailed me privately. She also wants all of us to know that there is no malice involved in any of this and it is purely of a legal nature, that we cannot use NOT's name for the golf tournament.

In fact, Joanne mentioned that she has worked extra hard over the last number of months, trying to bring back retail and mend the fences.

And so, the new name of the golf tournament will become either The Ring Of Fire Golf Classic or The ROF Golf Classic.

Now the bad news..... Royal O. has not been very accommodating with tee times & dates available. I can tell you that the dates we are trying to book the tournament for is Sat. Sept. 12th or Sept. 26th. I have contacted a couple of other courses and will follow up on that at the end of the week.

Please accept my apologies for all this. But rest assured that there will be a golf tournament in September.
