Every few months I try and jot down my thoughts on the goings on with NOT.

They may interest you, they may not, I do it for my own amusement and you are more then welcome to agree or disagree with them.

Disclosure I own NOT. FWR, SPQ,KWG,UC,MTX in the ROF. furthur disclosure, my holdings are currently worth 38% of my buy in price, my timing for purchases obviously sucks. I have not sold one of my ROF stocks over the last 15 months but really wish I had had the courage to do so and buy back in as the price fell. I did however buy more fwr and NOT as the prices slipped. One year ago today NOT was 2.99, this was 3 months after my first purchase at 5.78. I have learned to be resilient of the stock price and keep my eye on the prize.

My Thoughts on:

Joanne Jobin, congrats to her on her appointment and obvious stock options. She obviously has worked hard in the industry and is well respected. In the past 8 months I believe she earned her place with Noront while handling the investor relations portfolio. We may not have liked how she did it and how much or little she revealed but remember she was under contract and doing as she was directed, and she did it well.

Wes Hanson, congrats to him on his appointment, he has a lot of experience in the mining inustry. He obviously has a lot of experience and has the skills and know how in starting up a mining operation. I find it interesting that he has these credentials and it confirms the previous threats of the co-ceo's that Noront could develop its own mine. His openess during his first week in the job was refreshing. I would caution that we do not abuse his accessability. The man needs time to get the job done and won't be doing that if he is constantly on the phone with us.

Stock Options, For Dr Mungall and all the geolgists on staff deserve what they recieve here and I hope that the distribution is fair. I am extremely impressed with him and trust that he will continue to define our discovery.

Windfall, Under Care and Maintenance? or an investment that continues to add value as it sits? There is more to this storey then we know. The NR was confusing, significant results yet under care and maintenance. Some reports of massive amounts of gold yet just sits idle. My belief is that they know whats there, but were much more excited by the ROF property, gold prices were depressed at the time and its value continues to increase as gold approaches $1000 oz or even $2000 as have been suggested by some investment advisors. I am curious to see what Murgur and Freewest do in the near future with this property. I know Murgur is going to start work in this area so lets keep our fingers crossed. Personally I can see it being sold off when more value is proven and the price of gold is more appetizing.

On the last 9 months, in a word, painfull, to watch the attempted takeover, the share price manipulation ( and yes I do believe this) to watch this board pulled apart at the seams, it was painfull. But, it taught me some lessons, it taught me to be resilient. It taught me that due diligence is YOUR repsonsibility. It taught me that you better only play what you can afford to play. It taught me to put all things in life in perspective. We all hope to get rich overnight, the problem is that the definition of overnight varies and its usually a lot longer then you want it to be. I have decent amount of money invested in these stocks, it won't make me a millionaire, but it will make life pretty damn comfortable if we can realize the potential that is in the ground. I have wanted a Porsche since I was a kid ( 40 odd years ago) I know I will have one soon and the license plate is already chosen,,,,,,THNX TSXV..........

The future, looks promising, once we get the assay results for hole 49 we may see 5 or 6 bucks, if FWR hits in that sweet spot on the JV we wil see significantly more. If that happens ....look out..... we might have to wake up Lance at $20 just to see if he wants to sleep a little longer.

To our respected posters, Thank You. I have learned so much on this baord in the last 15 months, not only about stocks and the ROF but about life. Some days there are more important things to worry about then the stock portfolio, take time for your family and enjoy the fireworks tonight.
