Maybe Joan just does not know whats going on anymore, this may be by design, maybe not, maybe she's back on track of old, thought she alway crossed her t's and dotted her i's, perhaps it may not have been Joan on the line but who knows, all in all a waste of money imo, thought thats what we had Micheal at IBK front and center on the microphone for anyhow, but that's fuel for thought on another day.
......Still holes missing, unreported assays from drilling at E1
1) they say that E1's EM signature was masking the downhold geophysics continuity of mineralization identification.
2) E1 is traced to 225 m depth , hole 44 is 70 meters vertically below that of hole 28.
3) Drill costs all in are substantially cheaper for Drilling E1 given the fact that there is no helicopter support needed here with the camp less than 250 m away, even if they needed to move the rig, costs to do so are minimal due to proximity. Crew costs are fixed per shift and averaged over the drill program. Factor out the 175/m chopper cost and we approach a cost of around 175/m, this is still quite high imo for a rig that is that close to camp, basically support costs are minimal, cats and rhino's on site.
4) It takes money to make money in this business, if E1 is masking using holes drilled to date for the gathering of Downhole geophysics, imo they will need to do some deeper drilling around the 400-500m or better in order to get away from the E1's shadow (maybe Lar can help with the understanding of NOT options with this) and this drilling is expensive and will take time, we have to punch holes to continue and they need to be deep. May need to spend a cool million on holes to find another pool below E1, hopefully it will meet or beat E1 and that cool mill to get 2 or 3 billion is alright with me and I'am sure Wes has no reservations about swiss cheezing the E1 area.
From the 08 technical report:
In addition to the exploration work, it is recommended to construct a semi-permanent airstrip, as
the current one is on McFaulds Lake which necessitates skis in the winter, floats in the summer
and during spring break-up is not accessible. This is currently under construction Currently the camp houses temporary facilities and
a new camp more appropriately sized to house the large numbers of people should be built. Would assume this is a given and is being done. A budget of $1,750,000 should be allotted for this.
This coming winter, the overland road from Marten Falls to Esker Camp should be first and foremost on Wes's agenda. This would allow heavy equipment to make it in , allow for large volumn fuel hauls and the setup of Fuel storage facilities etc. Strategically, an announcement of committment to get the massives out of the ground at E1 would be a great segway to the awarding of the contract to build the winter road. This would definitely wake the boys on Bay Street.
