Good post, OBG. You make 2 good point here;

Their analysis is usually based on yesterday's events and rarely have any relevence to tomorrow's possibilities.

"Also why do different brokerages come up with wildly varying price targets for the same company?"

A good example of how each of them come up with targets that they want to see and that they have probably less ability than the average poster on this forum to forecast price fluctuations.
