The share price today for certain but also the volume!
Thanks to our respected forum member WE KNOW institutional investors are accumulating shares. They likely aren't looking at selling any time soon nor are they going to sell for anything close to current market price.
So why the accumulation and where do they see Noront share price going? Obviously they assume the delay in reporting exploration results plays in their favour as others lose heart and they feel a comprehensive report on several months drilling will have more 'bang' then steady release of news. A steady release of news and recovery of low ground in share price by Noront would have made them pay more, a lot more, than they've done in accumulating.
A lot if not most of forum members are long term investors willing to wait for the payoff and suffer the upturns and downturns in the market but most investors in exploration companies have a short term investment in mind and they will not wait to either take a profit or a loss.
Institutional Investors have to wait because blowing out the shares they hold could collapse share price in the market. So, my thinking is, why are they adding to not terribly liquid investment in Noront. They've a lot of other places to put there money so it's unlikely they are buying Noront on a 'whim', they have to be darn sure Noront has 'the goods' and is finding more.
