A while back I wrote that we'd get a very clear indication as to where this company is going once a CEO was announced. The fact is we don't really have said clear indication, or at least one that could be relied on with any certainty. It looks like the new man is capable and experienced, but he has never been a CEO as the force in charge of leading a company to greatness. My opinion and I confess instinct, as I have no facts to back it up, is that he is a convenient fit for the BOD intentions which have been and will remain intact for some time. You might say that he could be fulfilling the same function as the Royals to the British Gov't. in terms of running a country. I suspect that he is coming in as a team player (not a bad word) as opposed to a new guy with a fresh new vision and method of his own to bring to fruition.

Having stated the above, and I clearly state that this is just my opinion of a hypothetical but possible scenario, we just may be surprised. I wonder at their after hours timing for this announcement and if there isn't something else planned for tomorrow... and I don't necessarily mean a written announcement. As ever I await being humbled by the universe.
