"While I'm the least likely person to believe 'conspiracy theories' the action that keeps coming into Noront certainly does wave a few flags"
I also discount most conspiracy theories. They just do not fit with my way of thinking. However, we have a very seasoned group of people on the BOD, whom have all done this before, some of them several times. They have to understand that, although they are ok for money for the better part of a year, that they are going to have to deliver the goods in that time frame, or go to the market again with some very cheap shares. They do not seem concerned that they will have to sell those shares to us retail investors.
It has also been stated that the big guys now control in excess of 50% of outstanding shares, yet we do not hear of any discontent from their bench such as what we heard before the proxy thing. In fact Irwin seemed quite optomistic in that Rousseau interview.
One can only presume that the big boys have been kept up to date on the direction of this BOD and apparently approve of it. Our problem is we are left to simply follow the crowd, pick up rare indicators that may help our DD, and hope they know what they are doing.
In the long run it changes nothing if you are long on the company. It won't matter if the SP remains in the .70-.80 range until September and then shoots to 3-4 dollars, or if it gradually moves up a few cents a week, until it gets to 3-4 dollars. That is except for the growing expense of antacid tablets.
If you are playing it on the bumps, you are probably doing ok at it, but will probably give it all back if you miss the big bump when it does happen.
