Our Noront price supression may have not only involved the Probe deal.
There could be other JV or plans going on behind scenes. I brought up TME and BMK today for discussion because of land size & proximity. Noront has 400,000 shares of WPR.

Toronto, Ontario – November 1, 2007; WSR Gold Inc. (TSXV:WSR) (“WSR”) and Noront Resources Ltd (TSXV:NOT) (“Noront”) are pleased to announce that they have entered into an option agreement pursuant to which WSR has been granted the option to acquire a 50% legal and beneficial interest in a property. The area will include 15 Claim Blocks, approximately 4,400 hectares (9,600 acres) in the “Ring of Fire”, McFauld’s Lake, Ontario, near Noront’s nickle copper discovery.
In order to acquire its interest in the property, WSR is required to:
- Issue to Noront an aggregate of 400,000 common shares
I brought up bmk today because I sold the bloody stock with the exception of 13,000 shares at 5.5 cents from rage and disgust. Because I still hold 13,000 shares (wow, roughly 1300 buck worth), I observe the price. It has doubled slowly for really no reason until you start to look. Probe was the same was I watched the creeping up and posted it on this board. Something some of us may have forgotten is the following NR below. Googleye indicated that BMK hit nothing. Having 5 million shares of WPR is not nothing. Unless my math is wrong it amounts to 1/3 of the outstanding shares of WPR. Please correct me if I am wrong.

Toronto, Ontario – February 15, 2008; MacDonald Mines Exploration Ltd. (TSXV:BMK) (“BMK”) and WSR Gold Inc. (TSXV:WSR) (“WSR”) are pleased to announce that they have entered into a Letter of Intent pursuant to which WSR has agreed to acquire a 75% legal and beneficial interest in the Big Mac Property in the James Bay Lowlands. The Big Mac Property includes 701 Claim Units, approximating 11,200 hectares, in the “Ring of Fire”, McFauld’s Lake, Ontario, near Noront’s prolific nickel copper discovery.
In order to acquire its interest in the property, WSR is required to:
- issue to BMK an aggregate of 5,000,000 common shares on receiving TSX Venture Exchange and Board of Directors approval of the Option Agreement;
Also WSR was to issue cash payments of 100,000
BMK's worth is currently about 14 million. With their land package you also get 5 Million WPR shares. I am trying to understand clearly why Noront decided to not join the gang in the press release. I read Jacki 's Noront email in which Noront stated we don't release news on visuals and yet allowed the JV partners to use the NORONT name in the press release. If the %'s in the MMS turn out to be really great( they already knows since the hand held gizzmo has a high accuracy range). Then 5,000,000 shares of BMK is Something and WPR is definitely something. With the WPR you get the jv with arctic star and metalex.
