This is not a new game. For THEIR best interest, MMs (not who want to buy out NOT) want to get as many shares as possible at as low prices as possible in order to fully control NOT. In order to do this, one of typical technics is to lift up and drop it back down to get rid of as many retails as possible to reduce selling pressure so that it can be easier to lift NOT to a point that they want or agree with other parties in future. I remember the figure of institutional holding (some are MMs) is now over 50%. Soon we'll see 55%, 60%, 65% ... Once it passes a certain shreshold, good NRs start to flow around, takeover will be truely discussed and retails rush in to get a share, which will push sp to much higher level. By then MMs can just watch their wealth to grow. During this painful waiting period, management might be involved to help lower sp as agreed with MMs.
This game requires patience, months even years of patience. If you want to make some quick bucks, it's not where you should place your money at. I don't disagree people blaim the market, or the company, or the management, or something else. But if NOT is not a treasure box, you wouldn't see so many people sniffing around. Look at the longer term trend, folks, do not focus on day to day price change unless you have a strong heart.
