There is a possibilty Noront could negotiate a jv deal with FWR whereby they fund required work to define chromite to 43-101 stage and obtain a percentage of the claims involved. I'm not so sure that Noront management is prepared to take on all those costs and risk UNLESS they are certain that all that is required now is the funding of drilling to prove what has already been located.

Such a 'deal' would have to be better than FWR could get from an interested 'major' and since Noront could benefit more by effectively gaining control of most of the 'chromite' and adding to existing position they might be willing to be generous. Still such a jv wouldn't get them involved in the spq/kwg/fwr 'big daddy' strike.

I've always liked the idea of a FWR/NOT co-operative arrangement but see no sign of such a thing happening.

*BOLD jv sure looks dead to me if they have no chance of raising the $600,000 in exploration funds required.
