Yes, Donny; Wouldn't it be nice if this is the start of a whole new direction. Very possible too, as we have had 2 releases one day apart and then this 'olive branch' at the end of the week.

Regarding the guest speaker/ CEO idea, that is a good question, and maybe if not that then wouldn't this luncheon be a prime time to introduce the new CEO, whoever he/she may be.
