It's midnight, and I've had a long day, but just noticed I received a response from Noront to my email to Management requesting news soon, if possible, by May 15. I didn't really expect more than a form reply from IR, but this seems more thoughtful and mentions that they do not wish to ignore us. Most appreciated. ;-)

Furthermore, we would like to reassure you and all of our investors, that the current Board of Directors is operating at the highest standards of Corporate Governance. The Board itself is composed of 2 chartered accountants, a retired securities lawyer, two geologists, a chartered financial analyst, a long time employee of a North American Exchange, a graduate of the Institute of Corporate Directors and two members of the same Institute. As a whole the Board has numerous University degrees and Professional designations, exceptional experience in global mining and mineral exploration, international capital markets experience and most importantly regulatory prudence.

As to Noront’s Eagle One nickel deposit, it is high grade and exploration is ongoing. Our Blackbird Chromite discoveries appear to world class in size and grade and our current exploration program is designed to prove this as fact. We have numerous other targets in addition to extensions to known mineralization. We are the largest company operating in the Ring of Fire, we have the largest exploration budget, we have the largest strike extent of ultramafic sill on our claims, we are one-year ahead of any of our competitors, and we have four drills turning now. News from these programs will be released when they are compiled and material to the operation of the projects and your company.

Noront had the most significant Canadian discoveries in 2007 and 2008 and now continues its exploration programs with a strong Board of Directors in place, a firm balance sheet, and an excellent exploration team. We expect that we will have further discoveries to report on in the near future and hopefully these discoveries will affect our share price in a positive manner.
