Everything in the world today is about communications and shorting the distance and time it takes to interact with and connect too stakeholders and potential stakeholders no matter what your field of endeavor.
Agoracom has developed a very sophisticated system of making and maintaining the connection with a global community of investors that has never been accomplished successfully before. The proxy process was a perfect example of time sensitive communication in “real time” on a global basis. The power of this is scary for the dinosaurs! Communications does not require an individual to contact everyone individually anymore. What Agoracom has accomplished by developing a virtual “old fashioned supper table” means that everyone in the global investing community can now check in everyday to make sure that they have the latest available information regarding something that they value. This is shaking the historic foundations of the old world order that have always profited by preferential information. It is now wonder that the old money is trying to protect their turf!
My thoughts on our current situation, build on our strength! The strength that today’s powers that be are fighting against and want to fall apart. The NOT community needs to continue to focus on getting all the information possible on all the ROF players out (the good and the bad) and making sure that we encourage as many old and NEW members as possible to take part in our community not because they but because they have a need too.
This focus will only increase the power of retail over time and it will break down some of insider centered activity that has been prevalent in the global economic community in the past.
What will this most likely do? Increase retail participation in the ROF and increase the likely hood of us receiving reasonable value for our investment. The power in this focus is derived from the fact that the community can work on something rewarding and achievable (and it doesn’t matter what the current board thinks) and will increase the likely hood of significant returns on our investment!
