May ALL the remaining 16 of 18 Off Shore Oil Rig Workers and Helicopter Crew on board the Cougar Helicopter, which was forced to ditch in the North West Atlantic some 85km South East of St. John's following reports of experiencing mechanical problems earlier to day, Off Shore Newfoundland be RESCUED Alive and Well.
At this time there is one known survivor (currently Stable but on Life Support Systems in Hospital in St. John's) and one recovered body.
Also, keep in mind the RISK the Canadian Forces Search & Rescue face while seeking the location of all possible survivors.
Though not looking good, due to the harsh sea conditions this time of year (up to 60 - 70 km/hr winds and up to 5 m waves, thankfully South of the Ice Pack and Ice Bergs), there is good potential for any other Survivors of the crash to be able to withstand the Frigid Sea conditions for up to 24 - 30 hours due to the required wearing of Survival Suites.
Thus, HOPE is still WARRANTED!
