I think that you have brushstroked a very possible brilliant eventuality! It's the best I've heard.

Someday we will all read about the exciting story of NOT's beginning and the eventual success of the entire ROF.

I think you'd more than qualify to write the NOT book, along the lines of the Voisey Bay story. Instead of "The Big Score", you might call it "The Ultimate Score"!
