pdac..not..spq..fwr.... and my 4 hours there...

i have not read all the posts from the past 2 days. i will. but before i did, i wanted to say my stuff. if it's a repeat, sorry but i did not wish to be influenced by others' opinions.

i thought about my hours spent at various booths. i thought about them at badali's for dinner, on the train ride home, after my morning run this am and a long country ride so that i would still feel ok about these thoughts.

by the way, sos equals 'snake oil salesman'

i absolutely love the big foldout given at many booths of the mcfauld's!!! it will regrettably replace the large poster of raquel welch in her fur bikini from many years past. i guess on 2nd, 3rd thought, i won't replace it, i'll just move it a tad.

i visited each of the above booths at least 6 times during the 4 hours,

not first.. i never ever felt 'good' about anything joe hamilton said. when i really think about it, not didn't need to be there. they are 'there' alone and this was reinforced especially when joe said to a group who had asked him about a road, 'well you don't think if noront builds a road, they'd let freewest use it for nothing. we'd want our money.' they are in this alone, no doubt and i felt that joe did not need any one of the visitors/shareholders who passed by.

the only good feeling i had was later in the day when mr. atkinson was talking to a geologist from mugor. and they were looking over maps of atem's and gravity surveys. it was his maps because he was writing on various pages as they discussed using their hands how they both thought the land evolved relative now to the position of the chromite. it was fun to watch these 2 men discuss with true enthusiasm the find!!! it wasn't about money, it was about knowledge.

any question asked of joe, whether it be roads, government involvement, native issues, more drilling, assays, news releases, were all 'answered' in the same snake oil fashion. he's got it down pat, very smooth and coooool. i don't have to like the guy to like his company but it sure helps if compassion and understanding are there. some folks have put their life savings into not!!!!!!!! not a concern for him outwardly.

i need a guy who looks like he's been there and done it, not a guy who acts suave and looks rich(i'm not yet!!) and sells stock answers that are demeaning to the questioners.
