Hi all, I too attended the PDAC on Sunday and was thrilled to put a face to so many people that post on our Agoracom/Noront site as well as other ROF blogs. Many travelled a long way and I know that most that I talked to are thankful for Agoracom and the knowledgeable posters that particpate on the Noront site. It truly is like a team effort!!
The BOD and management of Noront were well represented and seemed available to answer most answer most questions put to them. There approach to releasing news being different than Freewest I think was well expalined by Glorieux. Finalizing a new CEO may make a difference regarding news, but I doubt it. I think their plan is to prove up as much as possible and keep off the radar screen. It is a need to know situation and just possibly at this time we don't need to know (JMHO).
The good news is 4 drills in place now and a 5th by the middle to end of March, infrastructure on the go (airstrip etc.), dozers rather than costly helecopters being used (stretching our $$), meetings with Ministry regarding road. No other company in the ROF has this much activity going forward. Cores are piling up waiting for assaying (backlogged)and they have not called off drilling. Seems good to me, but that's JMO!
All in all what else could a person do on a Sunday afternoon other than meet some real nice folks at PDAC!
GLTA, Justduke
