On Friday, Sammy Khon did something pretty important in Edmonton. He (and Griz) met face-to-face an elected representative of the Federal Conservative party. And although all Conservative MPs have received our letter, we now have an MP who has seen on a map the Ring of Fire, and has heard about the potential importance of this mineral find for the people of Canada.
How will this impact the future development of the Ring of Fire? Only time will tell, and it's not going to happen right away. In fact, probably not for some time. As Neil Novak pointed out to me, large scale infrastructure money will normally only pour into an area once the "project" is in development. We need a whole bunch more drilling even before get some 'majors' really interested. But it's going to happen.
What is important here - at least to me - is that:
1) our politicians including important NDP politicians, and Ontario government MLAs/MPPs now will know about the Ring of Fire, and its potential
2) Messers Parisotto and Hamilton, Neil Novak, and Mac Watson know that us Agoracom folks, in support of their efforts, are working in numerous positive ways to get the message out about the Ring of Fire including communicating directly to our elected officials
3) the investors who use Agoracom are united in getting the word out to the rest of the world about investment opportunities in the Ring of Fire.
