that may not have any basis in reality, but it's fun to hypothesize.

What if....RN knowing the game was afoot to oust him, made plans for the best possible outcome, not realizing how close the vote would be in the end. And those plans included a "Plan B" in what must have seemed like the certainty of being stripped of Noront.

And, with the complexity of all the JV's in the area as well as his own projects outside of Noront, he has a comeback play.

If RawSo came in opportunistically because they have a buyer in their back pocket who they represent, and are/were trying to scoop the RoF on the cheap, the best thing that could happen is their pushing Nemis out could bite them in the a$$ .....if Nemis quickly proves up some other finds and gets ANOTHER major involved.

Pretty soon the possibility of the majors duking it out for control could get in the way of the plans of RawSo and company. Nothing like a little blood in the water to get the sharks circling....

I realize Nemis probably got shoved aside beside he is considered "old school" ( read: has scruples) but the thing is, where majors are involved, they eat their young if required. So just like RawSo is taking orders from elsewhere, they will be sacrificed if another, bigger major steps in and all of a sudden we have the "Clash of the Titans".

RawSo and company are just the henchmen, the footsoldiers who will be compensated handsomely, but there are other shadowy figures behind the scenes giving the orders. I'd love to see a surprise coup d'etat from higher up the food chain.

As good as RawSo knew this play was, I don't think they knew HOW good, and now their greed will also play a part when the offers start rolling in.

But those are just my daydreams, not to be confused with cold, hard facts.

Stepping out for a while to run errands, curious to hear what everyone else thinks when I return.
