"will the canadian dollar go down as mutch as the US$ or will the canadian dollar follow the EURO for instance and not plunge so mutch as the US$?"

It will be difficult to determine what our dollar is actually doing as the US dollar goes down. We could be standing still actually but as the USD goes down we will appear to be going up. It has been said that the USD will cease to be the standard and obviously something else will have to take it's place. I don't know what that will be though others have an opinion I'm sure including going back to the gold standard. At any rate, as we are not in the same situation as the US regarding our banks, it is my assumption that our dollar will do comparatively well.
