Hey NOT Friends....

I am really very alarmed. ...... Pleased tell me if it's paranoia!!

As you know, I have recently sent 2 inquiries to AGORACOM asking if their contract with Noront had been renewed for 2009/10. No response. Chauncey Gardiner also asked several times, and now AGORACOM has responded with a terse, a typical comment:

"The terms of the agreement between Noront and Agoracom are as follows; duration twelve months (September 30, 2008 – September 30, 2009) unless terminated by March 30, 2009 at Noront's option; monthly cash compensation $CDN 4000 plus GST; stock option 50,000 shares at $CDN 2.25 representing the close of trading on September 8, 2008. The Options vest in accordance with TSX rules in equal quarterly amounts over the next twelve months.

Unfortunately, we cannot comment any further on the specifics of the contract."

Please note the phrase "unless terminated by March 30, 2009 at Noront's option...."

Hello? Our BOD indicates that it does not wish a warm and fuzzy relationship with its' shareholders. I personally have felt that the BOD would like us to disappear, along with the medium (AGORACOM) that has enabled us to communicate with one another, and update ourselves as best as possible.

The Management has ignored Agoracom, almost dismissing it, I believe. I may be totally wrong here, but want to alert everyone to the possibility that the BOD does not plan to renew its contract with AGORACOM! I think they hope we might not catch this intent and thus, we would be unable to do anything until it was too late!

Am I hallucinating?? ! Please let's think about what might happen, and how we can all stay in touch if such an outrage should occur!! These are critical times and we need this site of communication!!!

I have to dash out right this moment (already late) but I'm aghast. Can someone calm my anxiety?
