This latest news out on SPQ is a very important part of the ROF puzzle. There have been statements made that the orebody is 14 km long. This is a very difficult statement to back up with any solid facts. Any analyst worth anything will require a lot more information to give that statement any merit. Also anyone actually involved in mining is aware that 14km is a very, very long orebody to be one single vein.
However with SPQ now confirming very similar and VERY impressive widths and grade, it is much easier to picture the 5 km distance up to the FWR hits, or to picture the 4 km down to the Blackbirds. The indications now are becoming clearer that this could without doubt be the biggest single orebody ever found in this country.Don't forget that we have extended things from Blackbirds northeast as far as FWR, but then Noront owns all the land immediately northeast of that and it has not been touched to date, not even any geophysics of any sort.
This thing has taken one very big step closer to the critical mass point, and when it gets there (tomorrow?), this whole thing is going to explode, recession or not.
