However, looking back over time, if we factor in the state of the market since late Sept , its associative deplorable investor confidence , then multiply the mess with the rows upon rows of core samples that with 4 drills burping diesel fumes 24/7 have been surely stacking up at a very rapid rate , add in the ever crucial need to degrease the drill stem ( burn rate) so to speak and we end up with the intense need to do things the better way, the cheaper way, this makes huge sense.
Now then, if it was me armed with the quantitive knowledge of Not’s ongoing operations, armed with inside knowledge of most players drilling situational status (their core boxes), armed with the handheld digital anylizers to aid in core selection for assaying and going forward knowing that we needed to fly in a cat and other camp supplies i personally would have been holding the core boxes to take advantage of furtherance to the labs on the return flight of the transport rather than spend it on many, many, many flights of a much lesser weight capacity, I would imagine that the same transport made more than one trip into Mcfaulds Lake carrying support equipment etc, etc. As the plan was to effect camp upgrades this winter(including a landing strip upgrade) as well import of a vast array of supplies, going this route IMHO would save NOT and its co-campers literally many thousands of dollars on transport fees alone.
Now having said that does anyone know how many snowcats are in the shed at Esker?, one, two , or none, if its the latter we need to get a couple in there for hauling fuel to rig sites instead of using choppers, they are much cheaper and much more fuel efficient and the operators work considerably cheaper, there are snowcats that have passenger capability as well, I don’t think with the short distances ( even 25/30 kms is nothing) being travelled to the rigs that we need to be using choppers, by now, had NOT been utilizing snowcats instead of choppers for post freeze up winter work they would have paid for themselves by now, this is all of course just my honest opinion.
A great day today, great posts, great volumn and a positive close and as posted earlier on the board up 100% for the week! Hope everyone here has a great weekend.
On the edge of my seat...
Regards, Notster.
