Was the reason for the increase in NOT SP two days ago revelent to any potential news that is coming out of Southhampton Ventures. Someone knows something and the timing of the SV halt appears to be a good reason for the increase. In fact I would bet on it, otherwise it is my believe that we would have heard something from NOT management already. Whatever the reason for the halt I would very much like to see it more about Nickel then Chrome. A recent NR on very recent drilling is posted below:

Southampton Ventures to Commence Drilling in Ring of Fire, Mc Fauld’s Lake, Ontario on Noront Resources Ltd.’s Option to Joint Venture "Moonbeam" Property
Toronto, Canada – October 27, 2008 – Southampton Ventures Inc. (TSX-V:SV) ("Southampton") is pleased to announce the commencement of a 600 metre drill program to test two high priority VTEM geophysical targets on the Moonbeam Property, a Southampton – Noront Resources (TSX-V : NOT) Joint Venture Option on 12 claim blocks (6720 acres) to explore and develop the mineral-rich property in the McFauld’s Lake ‘Ring of Fire,’ 25 kilometres Northeast of the Eagle One Discovery.
Exploration at the Moonbeam property is focused on locating magmatic Ni-Cu-PGE and other Volcanogenic Massive Sulphide, (VMS) base metal occurrences. In preparation for the drill program and the targets chosen, ground geophysics and an airborne survey were conducted and reviewed by both management teams.
"We are extremely encouraged by our geophysical data and we look forward to launching this drill program on the high priority targets, located on the south-east part of the property" said Paul Gorman, President and CEO.
