You could be quite right,Lar, and if so, I am in line to make a definate apology.

It may be inappropriate for me to be using my discussions with my broker on this subject, as the shares we were talking about have an average cost of $.565. The subject of a tax loss was never discussed.

I would expect that the rules involved with the new TFSA will be identical to RRSP
