Windfall - Today's Executive Address

Paul P. stated in today's Executive Address, that results at Windfall "weren't adequate to warrant further work at this time" - or something close to that.

I have just re-read the October 21st press release on Windfall and make the following comments.

- based on the descriptions given, of the various zones accessed by the ramp, including several occurences of visible gold, along with the drilling results from the last few years, I find it hard to believe that there were no results that at least warranted an NR, telling us the results.

- about 8 to 10 months ago, one of our respected posters (I'm sorry, but I don't recall who it was) reported that he had a conversation with John Harvey. In that conversation, Mr. Harvey was asked something like, "what is the likelihood that hole #100 just happened to come down on a gold shoot/spike". Apparently he answered, "not a chance". I would very much like to know what Mr. Harvey's thoughts are on Windfall.

- In my opinion, Paul P's comment today, made it sound like they had put Windfall on care and maintenance, because of the results, when in fact they stated in the Oct 21 NR, that they did not have many of the results back yet. They put the project on care and maintenance while they evaluated the results. Now, I am not necessarily in disagreement with pausing Windfall, to concentrate on the ROF, but I find it very curious that Richard Nemis and John Harvey thought the ramp was warranted, and were willing to spend approximately $12 million less Quebec government rebate, and yet the new CEOs and BOD give the impression that the project is of minor value.

- I am of the belief that there is much more to the Windfall story. If management is keeping us in the dark for strategic reasons, and they have a plan that eventually benefits the shareholders, then I will be the first to congratulate and thank them.
