No doubt about it, we focus very hard on making sure upgrades are subtle. With threading, however, is impossible to upgrade in a subtle way becasue - by its nature - requires a change to the structure of the message system.

Hence, why we actually took 6 months to look at different designs and layouts. We wanted to make sure that we could deliver the feature with the least impact on experience. From the feedback we're getting (post speed fix), members seem very happy with it.

Thanks for your kind words about how me and all AGORACOM staff respond to members. Paul and I have instilled a philosophy from Day 1 that makes sure members are treated the way we wanted to be treated (but never were) on other discussion forums before we created AGORACOM.

It all comes down to understanding we both need each other to have a great community. Members need a great platform, AGORACOM needs great members. Take away 1 of these and we all lose.

One of the proudest accomplishments of my life is the creation of a happy, harmonious but massive small-cap community in which members and staff truly collaborate and work together for the greater good.
