It is dropping because it is just now the 'real' economy has started to hurt and it will get worse pretty quickly. It is still 2 months before change in US administration, so still lots of time for hurting. I guess by mid December the Obama effect will start to work, as well as the 'un-wanted' but necessary christmas gifts to the big autos.
