Coswil, in spite of all the talk that we in Canada will not be as severely impacted as the US, I was speaking to the manager of my small financial institution, this AM and was advised that they are seeing many bankruptcies and these would be all personal as they do not normally loan to business. Also, I think I heard that home sales in Canada were down about 19% last month or in Sept. and it shows that we are certainly not immume to what is going on globally.

As they say, "when the US sneezes, Canada gets a cold" and I think that is certainly true. Look at the Canadian $, it is dropping on average 2 cents almost every day and God help the snowbirds, they must really be in a panic and hoping for a reprieve. Don't put the mortgage payment on NOT, but whatever else you can scrape up should certainly give you a nice reward when it finally turns around.

Good trading. rj
