Further, I am of the view that WHEN this market turns around - as surely it will - it will be a tsunami like nothing we experienced in our life time.

I remember one of Newton's laws of motion, "For every action there is an opposite and equal reaction." While that explains the physical world around us - I have noticed the same phenomena in human emotion - right now this is a market of fear. Soon it will change - and when it does look out - the pent up pressure to advance is already enormous.

The market is always right - but at times like this it does not make sense. It does not need to make sense when it is right.

Everyone is pulling back in business not because they are losing money per se - for a number of people I am acquainted with at any rate, it is just a precautionary measure. But the problem is when everyone else does that then there is a self-fulfilling prophecy. Everyone pulls back because, well, everyone else is pulling back etc. - on and on it goes. Then when people realize the sky does not fall - everyone jumps back in.
