speaking for myself, I agree with many of your concerns. I only wish to keep our balance for the new person's benefit. Some self inmposed personal commitment to post x positive for every negative, say a formula like 2 for 1.

For instance: 2 positives about the prospects of our discovery for every 1 critical observation about managment.

This way we can keep the conversation going - keep it informatve - but also not let the negatives from overshadowing the ROF promise.
