Message: The RoF Chromite Company? (ref: 16 Oct 08 NR)

The sooner all the potential 'Chromite' players get together and hammer out an agreement that's binding on all parties the faster a 'major' can be brought into the picture.

All the exploration companies know that 'major' will not step up to the plate until such time as there is 'proof' of a major rich deposit of chromite. While early days it seems likely no one company can prove up the total amount required and the 'trend' of mineralization crosses claims held by a number of companies ALL of which the 'Major' is likely to want tied up with a bow WHEN magic number is reached for deposit(s).

A deal is 'CRITICAL' if sufficient drilling is to be done to prove up Chromite. Simple to understand when you consider that Noront would be crazy to spend a tonne of money to prove up large enough tonnage to create interest from 'major' and yet the other companies with Chromite on their claims get a free ride and major benefit. Not, in my opinion, going to happen.

Until some agreement is reached and possibly expenditure commitments from all parties for Chromite exploration we'll see most money spent on the search for Nickel and slower than we might like evaluation of Chromite.
