Greed, commodities and timing.

Much has been said about when commodities will achieve a renewed upward momentum. Many think it will be some time owing to the slowing of global economies due to decreasing demand and prices. On the other hand there is a need to put one's wealth somewhere to protect it as currencies decline in value. Where is the safest place and what is most likely to recover first? I believe that once there is something of a bottom touted by most of the "gurus", that greed will motivate most to grab a piece of cheap pie sooner than later. The nervous itch to protect or augment ones wealth will take hold in groups/firms/individuals and drive them back into the market. This is not a new concept most certainly but it will happen sooner than some think (those in cash) yet not fast enough for others (those waiting for cash). :)
