So many of us, myself included spend too much time as armchair quarterbacks., trying to determine which is the best way for this company to move froward.

What we should be doing is as you say; "We need to try to understand why the market is pricing us as they are andhow to best deal with it, so as not to be broadsided".

We will serve our purpose far better by paying attention to what is happening, rather than trying to determine what we want to have happen.
