There is nothing wrong with a proxy battle done to protect shareholders or evict Directors not looking after their interest. It's a right all shareholders have. to challenge and attempt to replace Directors.

Now if you can prove misleading statements or manipulation of share price as part of such a proxy contest then you could gain some interest from regulatory agencies.

Afraid you'd have to be much more specific in what you ask of the OSC rather than just stating how a large number of shareholders feel about it. Unlike US Counterparts our agencies are reluctant to 'witch hunt'.
