Making a deal with a Major is a lot tougher right now than it would have been earlier in the year since their cards 'CASH' and access to lots of 'CASH' are awfully high cards.
Right now Noront's cards consist of E1 as high, other Nickel cards being evaluated and Blackbirds being the wild cards. Doesn't hurt at all that other players in the ROF can lend a hand by providing further Chromite wild cards.
My feeling is this is a long game and likely the Ontario and Federal Government will enter by throwing in some ROAD chips to sweeten the pot.
Not enough pressure on a Major to step in and bid to take over Chromite deposits which is what everyone would like since it leaves the Nickel and PGM deposits as profitable on their own by riding on the back of Chromite infrastructure. Need some big Chinese gambler to enter this game.
