Seems to me we are falling for the 'go with the big guy' logic, that somehow this will result in success and profit. It does not. When selling an estate in the 80's we moved from the local guy to the international big guys. The house sat 3 more years. We relisted locally and sold the estate in three months.

Stick with those who know the local business.

Don't be dazzled by names and connections.

If someone has a reason they believe this will happen simply by a takeover, spell it out please.

My impression is that we will have a much harder time getting a price increase due to dilution, loss of confidence, loss of direction and loss of experience.
