The lady that called informed me that my conversation was being recorded. I replied with disbelief and said "You are kidding! Really?" upon which she got rather nervous but began her spiel which was well rehearsed after probably many calls.

I let her carry on with the facade and when I questioned what Rosseau were objecting to, she quoted from a cheat sheet, "Noront has spent money on non core areas and the private placement of 26 million was supposed to be for Eagle 1 only but they spent 15 million on Windfall. I replied that the 15 million was provided by a private placement in 2006 and was earmarked for Windfall only and the Quebec govt had substantial rebates which were due to Noront for their expenditure.

Nasty me, but I asked her if she knew about that and she said no but she only knew that Noront has spent money out of the 26 million in areas that were not where Rosseau bought in for. I then told her to tell Rosseau that their 26 million was still in Noronts bank account.

In the conversation I heard her whispering in the background to someone so I assume my recorded conversation was NOT what they were hoping for. I actually felt sorry for her and did say I know you are only doing the calling but I do not think Rosseau is working in the best interest of the company and I will certainly not be voting for them. Don't call me I'll call you!
