In short Forestmusic1 I don't have any idea how many shares are held by Agoracom members. We know that Agoracom has 175,000 shares which have been voted to Mr Nemis. I can't say anything more on that.
My polls have been really more unofficial in nature with the purpose of showing the Agoracom community how united we are with our existing management team. The poll was really meant to bring us together to fight our common issue right now and that is the Rosseau bid to replace our dedicated and highly skilled management team.
I can only say that we are probably fighting 3 or 4 shareholders (Rosseau, Pinetree, Sprott & Genuity (or however you spell it). I would probably hazard a guess that they own in the realm of 1/3 of the shares of Noront outstanding. This is a guess. As that percentage increases our battle becomes tougher so Glorieux and a number of other dedicated within the Noront Agoracom community have been calling shareholders of record to be sure they all have their proxies and know what is happening here.
There are about 136,000,000 outstanding shares of Noront presently held. I think its pretty safe to say that if "everyone" that is a shareholder votes this will become a very interesting ballot. If we get any shareholders that don't vote or more importantly don't vote for Richard Nemis we could very well be looking at a repeat performance of Aurelian Resources. I am afraid we may never see the stock split before we're sold off, especially with the market conditions as they are.
On a lighter note it has been alluded to by knowledgeable commodity review analysts that the commodity bull could well start up again early in the new year (2009). Rosseau is trying to take control of Noront while the chips are down in the market as a whole. Of course all stocks pretty much suffer in this environment. Noront is no immune. What we need the shareholders to know is that we are bottoming and then we go up again. If Rosseau takes the reins we may never see our dream come true of 30, 50, 100 dollar share price.
Even though we may not know how many shares are owned by private hands within Noront we know that Glorieux and so many determined and focussed Agoracom members are pushing every button they can to get our entire shareholder base on line with what is happening so that the thought of shareholder complacency, as there was in the previous vote, will not be an issue. To be honest, I don't think even if we know what the number of shares are that we would post them in a public forum for "all" eyes to see, especially those that don't belong here.
Have a great night and enjoy your weekend.
All the best,
Mustangman
