Noront Resources Ltd. (TSX VENTURE:NOT) ("Noront") today announced that its Board of Directors and a special committee of independent directors have unanimously recommended that shareholders of the Company vote the WHITE PROXY to re-elect the current Board of Directors and to reject a slate of nominees proposed by dissident shareholder Rosseau Asset Management Ltd. and certain related parties (collectively, "Rosseau").
