Canada has a federal government election taking place on Tuesday, October 14th. So the timing is difficult with regards to getting in touch with politicians and someone like Jim Flaherty, the present government's finance minister.

However, I suggest that after Tuesday every Canadian who owns NOT shares contact his office. I have done this on a number of occasions in the past, and I know that he and his office read his emails.

One other suggestion would be to mention something about the small retail investor and the multiplicity of security exchange commissions in Canada i.e., every province and territory has its own SEC. And basically, this is very bad for us small guys.

Flaherty wants one SEC like in the USA. However, some provinces like BC and Quebec want to keep their own. As a new resident of BC, I feel like I'm getting scr*wed. (I know Ontario is strongly for one SEC - I've had that confirmed by email.)

I don't know whether an email campaign to Canadian politicians will work, but somebody might just know somebody - if you get my drift.

At this point, I'm feeling really good about Noront and our campaign. Everyone keep up the great work. It worked for Spider Resources!
