I don't see that Pinetree has ever recovered nor has Brownstone. Sheldon may never have been guilty but this sure did the stock price in of both companies.

Publicly lauded in 2002 for pulling the plug on a merger of two firms in which he was a principal owner, Inwentash then merged the firms two years later. His $370,000 salary represented just 3.3% of his total payout after options and bonuses.
Risky business: In December, 2006, the Ontario Securities Commission announced that Pinetree, and Inwentash, were under investigation for insider trading and stock manipulation.
