Railroader,

The fund managers would have the option to vote the fund's proxies.

Whether they do or not is questionable, but remember they do have a vested interest in the performance of Noront stock.

I would think this situation with Rosseau will be widely known in the investment community therefore the fund's managers will know about it, and will want to make a voting decision, based on their opinion of, the best interest of Noront.
